Lil Kim Inspired Lookbook
Hey Homebodies,
So I did a really big thing, the biggest project so far. A few months ago I came across thefacebully_ on TikTok and she created the #CrushOnYouChallenge which she did featuring makeup looks. I instantly fell in love with the challenge but I was alittle scared to take it on. Time kept going on and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I playfully posted on Facebook that I wanted to collaborate with a makeup artist and hairstylist and I actually got two amazing friends that were interested. I sent them each my vision board for the project and we all went to work. It took about a month for everything to come together but now that I see the final project I know it was completely worth it.
I usually like to run down how I created each look but I don’t even think I could describe how any of these looks were made in a way that would make sense. One day I do hope to get back into Youtube so I can film the process as I go. If you all are interested in getting the best description I can provide ask in the comments or reach out to me on Instagram. My Instagram will have information on where the fabric was purchased as well but if you’ve been around for awhile you could pretty much guess. Along with collaborating with a makeup artist and hairstylist I took this moment to feature a brand owned by my brothers. Support P.L.U.G!
Down below I want you all to tell me which look is your favorite and also check out the TikTok I created to go with this blog post (@theoverdressedhomebody). If you’ve never seen the Lil Kim- Crush On You video definitely watch it so you’ll understand the idea behind everything.
Enjoy!
